About Our Founders:
Dan Anderson: Owner and General Manager
Dan Anderson earned his B.A. from the University of Washington and has worked in the food and hospitality industry for over 23 years. In the process, he gained expertise in almost every front-of-house position: bus person, host, waiter, cocktail server, bartender, and bar and floor manager. Anderson's background took him from Spokane to overseas eateries in Honolulu and London before settling in Seattle 13 years ago. Before joining what is now the BluWater team, Anderson worked at Belltown Billiards in downtown Seattle and the Paragon Bar & Grill on Queen Anne Hill. Anderson's friendly demeanor and commitment to personal service consistently keep BluWater customers coming back.
Bart Evans: Owner and General Manager
Bart Evans holds a B.A. in business and will soon complete his M.B.A. with a focus on the culinary industry. Evans has worked in the frenetic paced restaurant business for the past 23 years. During this time he has streamlined nearly every aspect of "front-of-house" operations. Evans previously worked at Anthony's Pier 66 on the Seattle waterfront and at F.X. McRory's Steak and Oyster House in Pioneer Square. At the BluWater, Bart is recognized by regular customers who appreciate his attentiveness to service while running a smooth and efficient business. |
